Akamai Expands Channel Partners Program by Adding over 25 Leading Firms
In partnering with Akamai, Web developers, application vendors, and Internet consultants, who build creative and technical solutions for leading companies worldwide, will leverage Akamai's Internet content delivery services as a means for enhancing their own eBusiness offerings. As a result, the integration of Akamai's technology ultimately benefits the content provider whose Web site will be delivered more quickly and with more engaging, dynamic content.

Akamai's Alliance Partner program targets companies who help content providers effectively utilize the Web for their business needs. Partners include Web developers, who use Akamai's high-performance Internet content delivery services to enhance their own service offering; application vendors, who build an interface between their software products and Akamai services; and systems integrators who recommend Akamai as a solution for improving Web performance.
The Alliance Partner program has attracted Web development partners and applications vendors who are among the top companies within their target markets.
