Through its state of the art Digital Media Centers, Loudeye is currently encoding music videos and transcoding MP3 files for Farmclub.com. Loudeye is also working closely with Farmclub.com engineers to automate the process by which MP3 files are encoded into two formats and six available bit rates, and then uplinked automatically back to the Akamai network. Loudeye's patent-pending parallel encoding process offers customers like Farmclub.com some of the highest quality audio and video commercially available anywhere in the industry today. By leveraging the streaming media services from Akamai and Loudeye, Farmclub.com is able to operate a highly scalable, cost-effective business.
