Atoll Impressions becomes reseller in Greece of Akamai's content delivery services

May 14, 2001 - Akamai Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: AKAM), the leading Content Delivery Service Provider (CDSP), and Atoll Impressions announced the signing of a reseller agreement for Greece. As outlined in the agreement, Atoll Impressions has committed to resell Akamai's Internet content delivery services throughout Greece as part of its value-added offerings to its customers requiring high-performance, reliable delivery of Internet content. Akamai's services bring measurably greater speed, performance, and reliability by delivering all forms of content from Akamai's globally distributed network of thousands of edge servers located close to Internet end users.

As one of the key Internet players in Greece, Atoll Impressions is a "turn key" Internet Solution Provider with a diverse customer base, offering cutting edge technologies such as hosting, content delivery, e-commerce, video, CD and e-advertising.

Atoll Impressions has a broad range of products and services and has compiled the resources to allow companies the opportunity for Internet success. The company is committed to providing quality service for all of its online clients, offering a timed response guarantee.

"It has been our company's policy ever since our establishment to offer quality products, original concepts and services to a selective range of customers, rather than offering conventional services and poor support to many. To distribute Akamai services to our customers is in line with this policy and we are excited to bring Akamai's unparalleled services to market in Greece where there is a tremendous opportunity that is resulting in significant demand," said Antony Mavromichalis, CEO of Atoll Impressions.

Deployed within 56 countries, Akamai's distributed edge servers provide businesses an instant, highly cost-effective global presence. The scalable capacity of Akamai's network enables the Company to handle a significant percentage of today's Web traffic with ease.

Akamai's EdgeSuiteSM offering is an integrated suite of services that allows Web sites to reap the performance, scalability, and reliability benefits of content delivery across an entire Web site - including static and dynamic content, embedded objects, streaming media, and HTML. The EdgeSuite service enables the generation and delivery of all forms of content from optimal locations for each end user. Atoll Impressions' customers will be able to realize the benefits of massive scalability and uninterruptible Web site availability.

In addition to Akamai's EdgeSuite service, Atoll Impressions will offer its customers Akamai's FreeFlowSM, FreeFlowSM Streaming, FirstPointSM, and EdgeScapeSM services for rapid, reliable content delivery, high-quality streaming media delivery, advanced global traffic management, and geo-location functionality.

"Atoll Impressions is representative of the kind of company with whom Akamai is pleased to form a relationship, and we're excited to work together to offer optimized solutions. This strategic relationship will help to advance our presence in Europe due to Atoll Impressions' strong customer base and capabilities for developing and managing complex Internet sites," said Bernard Seite, Managing Director Southern Europe, Akamai.
