Depicta to resell Akamai Internet content delivery services to expand Media Content Management Offering
London and Stockholm, May 29, 2001 - Akamai Technologies, Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM), the leading Content Delivery Service Provider (CDSP), today announced that Depicta, a leading provider of Media Content Management Services for eBusinesses, will offer Akamai's global Internet content delivery services to complement its suite of Internet business infrastructure services.Depicta will resell Akamai's FreeFlowSM , FreeFlowSM Streaming, and certain other services, leveraging Akamai's high-performance, global network to enhance the performance and reliability of content delivered to end users. The combination of Depicta's Media Asset Management ASP Services and Akamai's content delivery capabilities will enable Depicta to offer its customers highly reliable infrastructure services that take advantage of the massive scalability, fault-tolerance, and worldwide reach of the Akamai network.
