RCN and Akamai Team to Deliver Broadband Content to RCN Customers
The agreement marks a significant deployment arrangement further expanding Akamai's footprint, and enabling the delivery of all forms of broadband content for Akamai's worldwide customer base of content providers. Leveraging the RCN broadband network, Akamai is bolstering the delivery of broadcast-quality audio and video streaming for thousands of today's popular Web properties and enterprise sites using Akamai's services.
