Akamai and KPNQwest to Exhibit at the IBC 2001 in Amsterdam

Munich, August 2, 2001 - Akamai Technologies GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM), the leading provider of distributed application and content delivery services will present at the IBC (International Broadcasting Convention) September 14 - 18, 2001, in Amsterdam, it's whole website delivery service EdgeSuite^SM, the new SiteWise tool for website analysis, and Akamai's Streaming Services. Akamai is located in Hall 12, Booth 319. EdgeSuite
Akamai's EdgeSuite offering, a complete suite of managed Internet infrastructure services, allows Web sites to reap the performance, scalability, and reliability benefits of content delivery across an entire Web site, including static and dynamic content, embedded objects, streaming media, and HTML.
