Akamai President and CFO to speak at next week's Salomon Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley conferences

CAMBRIDGE, MA - January 4, 2002 - Akamai Technologies, Inc. President Paul Sagan and Chief Financial Officer Timothy Weller will discuss enterprise demand for Akamai's services on Monday, January 7th at the Salomon Smith Barney Entertainment, Media and Telecommunications Conference, and Tuesday, January 8th at the Morgan Stanley Internet, Software, and Networking Conference.
