Digex Offers Akamai EdgeSuite Content And Application Delivery Solution
Digex is offering the Akamai EdgeSuite service to its enterprise clients as an integrated set of functionalities designed to reduce Internet infrastructure complexities and costs by extending the performance, scalability, and reliability benefits of content delivery across an entire Web site, including dynamic content. The service utilizes intelligent routing technology that connects end-user requests to the most optimal server within Akamai's distributed computing platform for efficient distribution of dynamic content, rich media, and Web and enterprise applications.
Digex clients work with Akamai and the Digex Application Optimization Center (AOC) to guide them through setup and provide support. The AOC will offer full support for Akamai clients and is an ISO 9001-2000 registered organization dedicated to providing world class pre- and post-production application enhancement and deployment services. Other AOC services include testing, migrations, profiling and code review.
