PaySystems Corporation Selects Akamai EdgeSuite for Business Continuity Assurance
Offering an advanced payment processing solution for Internet merchants worldwide, PaySystems requires that its customers be able to process their transactions anytime, from anywhere, without interruption. Akamai's global network will supplement and protect PaySystems' existing infrastructure, by providing an on-demand, scalable platform enabling PaySystems to withstand even the most rigorous of e-business requirements in the face of planned or unforeseen events. Most recently, the Akamai EdgeSuite service enabled PaySystems to maintain 100% availability during the January 25th emergence of the Sapphire worm that disrupted Internet traffic.
