During the 24-hour period beginning at 4 p.m. EST on November 2nd, CNN.com delivered more than 670 million page views, resulting in a single-day record for CNN.com's coverage of a Presidential election.
Akamai's EdgeSuite® service and scalable platform helped CNN.com provide a fast and reliable user experience to more than 8.9 million visitors who accessed the news site during Tuesday, November 2, 2004 and Wednesday, November 3, 2004.
